While most Registered Training Organisation providers are not industry-based, McIntosh Training Academy offers a real working environment.
Students benefit from both the structured formal training to meet the apprenticeship requirements, alongside a practical element with the latest technical information and exposure to the latest advances in technology that only a dealership group like McIntosh & Son could offer.
Our practical assessment facilities are the McIntosh & Son dealerships & workshops, which means direct access to:
- The latest machinery including tractors, combines, and sprayers.
- New Holland combines that have been allocated exclusively for Academy training.
- Engines, transmissions, drivelines, air-conditioning servicing equipment, extensive componentry inventory.
- CAN-Bus training kits, electronic diagnostics training platforms for mechanical and auto electrical training delivery.
All resources used in training modules are sourced directly from our dealerships, allowing students to perform actual servicing and repair operations under supervision throughout their apprenticeship.
